The Scrunch AI alternative for Gemini, Claude, Grok and Google AI Mode, the four engines Scrunch keeps for Enterprise, checked daily at one flat price, is Cituna: all seven major engines from $39 a month, with Search Console and API and MCP read access on the entry plan. Otterly.AI covers Scrunch Core's four engines for $29 a month, and Promptwatch adds Grok with API and MCP from $95. SE Visible suits teams that need more prompts (200 for $99), and Trakkr suits agencies that want Claude, Grok and white-label portals at published prices (all checked 28 or 29 September 2026).
Scrunch's Core plan costs $250 a month for 125 prompts on four engines, and Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Mode, the API and MCP sit on its custom-priced Enterprise plan (checked 29 September 2026). Scrunch is also now a Sitecore company.

How this list works: each tool had to answer at least one of Scrunch Core's published gaps: engines held back for Enterprise, API or MCP held back for Enterprise, prompt volume, or an unpublished check frequency. Entries are ordered by entry price, month to month, low to high (for LLM Pulse, which prices in euros, we use the dollar figure its page shows). Every fact comes from the vendor's own pages, read on 28 or 29 September 2026, and "not published" means the vendor's pages do not say.
Why do people look for Scrunch AI alternatives?
The reasons below come from Scrunch's own pricing page, read in a browser on 28 and 29 September 2026, not from reviews or rumours.
- Four engines on Core. The $250 Core plan tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot. Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Mode and Meta AI appear only on Enterprise, which lists nine.
- Data access is Enterprise only. Core shows a dash for the Query API, MCP and Looker Studio. Enterprise lists a Query API, an Advanced API, Looker Studio and MCP marked as custom.
- The price is hard to pin down. The browser page shows Core at $250 a month but does not say whether that is billed monthly or annually, and its FAQ entry on annual pricing has no answer in the HTML.
- The same URL shows AI crawlers a different page. Fetched as GPTBot, ClaudeBot or Claude-User on 29 September 2026, scrunch.com/pricing returned a Starter plan at $250 a month billed annually or $300 month to month, with 350 prompts and 3 users, plus a Growth plan at $417 or $500. That copy contradicts the browser page's Core plan (125 prompts, 5 users). Our crawler test of nine pricing pages read the same Starter figures on 22 September 2026.
- No published cadence and no Search Console. Neither is on the pricing page.
- A new owner. A Sitecore press release dated 3 June 2026 says Sitecore acquired Scrunch. The scrunch.com pages did not mention Sitecore when we checked on 29 September 2026, so if you are not a Sitecore customer, ask how plans and contract terms will change.
What does Scrunch still do well?
Scrunch's most distinctive product is AXP, its Agent Experience Platform, on Enterprise. It serves AI agents a version of your site built for them, and none of the eight alternatives below publishes an equivalent. If the reason you bought Scrunch is how AI crawlers read your pages, start with why server-rendered HTML matters to AI crawlers before you switch.
Core is also more than a tracker. It includes 125 unique prompts, five site audits and one page optimization a month, basic content generation and five user licences, with a 7-day free trial that the pricing page says needs no credit card (checked 29 September 2026). Scrunch's agencies page lists multi-client workspaces, prospecting environments and white-label outputs through its API, though no agency prices.
Buyers also know the name. In our scans on 28 September 2026, the seven engines named Scrunch in 33 of 153 answers (22%) to 22 buyer questions about AI visibility tools.
Which Scrunch AI alternatives fill Scrunch Core's gaps?
1. Rankscale (best for every engine on the smallest budget)
Rankscale's Essentials plan costs $20 a month, or $204 a year, and Pro costs $99 a month (checked 28 September 2026). Its pricing page makes every engine available on every plan, including the four Scrunch keeps for Enterprise (Gemini, Claude, Grok and Google AI Mode) and the four Core tracks (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot).
Usage runs on credits. A typical run costs 0.25 credits per engine per prompt, Claude costs 2, and Essentials includes 120 credits a month, Pro 1,200. So Scrunch Core's 125 prompts, checked daily on one engine, would use about 938 credits a month: more than Essentials, within Pro. You set the cadence per prompt, from hourly to monthly. MCP is on every plan, the REST API starts on the $385 Growth plan, and the homepage lists Search Console and GA4 connections in beta.
Strength: every engine and MCP from $20, with the cadence in your hands.
Limit: credits run down fast on Claude and on daily checks across many engines, and the 7-day trial covers Pro only.
Pick it if: you want the engines Scrunch keeps for Enterprise and are happy to budget in credits, checking some prompts weekly rather than daily.
2. Otterly.AI (best for Scrunch Core's four engines for less)
Otterly.AI's Lite plan costs $29 a month, or $25 billed annually (checked 28 September 2026). Every plan tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, daily: the same four engines as Scrunch Core. Gemini and Google AI Mode are $9 add-ons on Lite, and Claude is $29. Grok is not mentioned anywhere on its site.
Lite includes 15 prompts. Standard, at $189 a month, includes 100 prompts, API and MCP access (2,000 requests of each a month) and a Looker Studio connector, which is $61 a month less than Core with the data access Scrunch keeps for Enterprise. The free trial needs no card, though Otterly's pages disagree on its length: 7 days in the homepage FAQ, 14 days on the sign-up banner.
Strength: Core's exact engine set, checked daily, for less than an eighth of the price.
Limit: Lite's 15 prompts are far short of Core's 125, there is no Grok at any price, and it recommends fixes but does not write content.
Pick it if: Scrunch's four engines are the ones you watch and the bill is the problem. If you later outgrow Otterly, see Otterly AI alternatives.
3. Cituna (best for Gemini, Claude, Grok and AI Mode with Search Console)
Cituna costs $39, $119 or $399 a month (checked 29 September 2026). From $39 it checks seven engines daily: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, with Google Search Console connected. Four of those seven are Enterprise-only at Scrunch.
It does more than report. Cituna writes the fix for each gap it finds and publishes articles, and an MCP server is included. The trial lasts 3 days and needs a card.
Strength: seven of the nine engines on Scrunch's Enterprise list, with a published price and a published daily cadence, next to your Search Console data.
Limit: Microsoft Copilot is not one of Cituna's seven engines, and Scrunch Core has it. Its 3-day trial with a card is also stricter than Scrunch's 7-day trial with none.
Pick it if: your buyers ask Gemini, Claude, Grok or Google AI Mode, and you want the fixes written as well as the gaps found. Our AI visibility tools compared note sets it next to the other trackers, and Cituna's own Scrunch alternatives comparison lists its plans against Scrunch Core.
4. Geoptie (best for choosing your own four engines)
Geoptie's Starter plan costs $49 a month, or $490 a year (about $41 a month), checked 28 September 2026. Like Scrunch Core it tracks four engines, but you choose them per brand from seven and can change them at any time: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. Checks are daily, across 123 country markets.
Starter includes 15 prompts, 2 brands, unlimited team members, and unlimited audit reports and content generations, against Core's five site audits a month. The REST API, MCP server and white-label reports start on Professional at $99 a month. No trial is published.
The engines already lean on Geoptie for this topic. In our scans of 33 runs in the 30 days to 22 September 2026, geoptie.com drew 221 citations from Perplexity and 104 from Claude.
Strength: Core's engine count at a fifth of the price, with Copilot available alongside Gemini, Claude or AI Mode.
Limit: 15 prompts, no Grok, and API access only from $99.
Pick it if: you want Copilot plus two or three of Scrunch's Enterprise engines on a small budget, with room for audits.
5. LLM Pulse (best for Gemini and AI Mode in the base price)
LLM Pulse prices in euros: Starter costs €49 a month with weekly checks (shown as $59, or $49 billed annually) and €79 with daily checks (checked 28 September 2026). Every plan includes ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews, and a prompt counts once however many of those engines run it.
On the weekly Starter plan, Claude costs €25 a month extra, Copilot €10 and Grok €15. Starter includes 50 prompts, 10 competitors, 3 GEO Writer tasks, MCP and unlimited team members. Search Console connects over MCP from Growth (€99 a month), per a page checked 29 September 2026, and the API starts on Scale. The 14-day trial covers weekly plans and needs a payment method.
Strength: two of Scrunch's Enterprise engines, Gemini and AI Mode, in the base price, with MCP from the first plan.
Limit: weekly by default, and Copilot, which Core includes, is an add-on.
Pick it if: weekly trend data is enough and you want five engines for less than a quarter of Core's price.
6. Promptwatch (best for API and MCP on the first plan)
Promptwatch's Essential plan costs $95 a month, or $950 a year (checked 28 September 2026). Its plan cards list four tracked models, chosen from 11: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Claude, Gemini, Meta Llama, DeepSeek, Grok, OpenCode and Claude Code. Copilot is not listed.
Essential includes 50 prompts, daily checks, 500 agent credits, MCP and API access, and Search Console, all of which sit on every brand plan. The 7-day trial covers Essential and Professional. AEO articles start on Professional at $245. For agencies, the Kick-off plan is $199 a month with unlimited client and pitch projects and 10 seats (checked 29 September 2026).
Strength: the data access Scrunch reserves for Enterprise, plus Search Console, from $95.
Limit: four models at a time, one seat on Essential against Core's five, and no Copilot.
Pick it if: you pipe AI visibility data into your own dashboards or agents and want it on the first plan.
7. SE Visible (best for more prompts per dollar)
SE Visible, SE Ranking's standalone AI visibility product, starts with Basic at $99 a month, or $79 billed annually (checked 28 September 2026). Basic includes 200 prompts, about 30,000 AI answers a month and 3 projects. Core, at $189, has 450 prompts.
Every plan tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, refreshed daily. The site says Claude will be added soon, and Grok and Copilot are not listed. There is a 10-day free trial and an API, though the plan that includes it is not stated. Search Console is not published for SE Visible, while the SE Ranking platform's own plans list GSC and GA4 integrations.
Strength: 200 prompts on five engines for $99, against Core's 125 prompts on four for $250.
Limit: no Claude, Grok or Copilot today, and SE Ranking's Agency Pack does not apply to SE Visible.
Pick it if: you track many prompts, and your buyers mostly use ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers.
8. Trakkr (best for Claude and Grok on a flat price, and agency portals)
Trakkr's Growth plan costs $100 a month, or $1,000 a year (checked 28 September 2026). Every plan includes eight models: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI. Google AI Mode and Copilot are not listed.
Growth tracks 1 brand daily with 50 prompts, 25 articles a month, 3 seats and MCP. Scale, at $500 a month, adds the REST API, 10 brands, unlimited seats and white-label client portals with your domain and logo, at no separate white-label fee. Scrunch's agencies page lists white-label outputs but no price. Trakkr has no native Search Console connector, only a workflow guide that uses GSC exports. The 14-day trial requires a card.
Strength: Claude, Grok and Meta AI, all Enterprise-only at Scrunch, on a $100 plan.
Limit: no AI Mode or Copilot, a card for the trial, and the API only at $500.
Pick it if: you run an agency and want published white-label pricing, or your buyers ask Claude and Grok.
What do AI engines recommend instead of Scrunch?
In our scans on 28 September 2026, we asked seven engines "Scrunch AI alternative" and all seven answered. Otterly.AI and Profound were named by all seven, AthenaHQ by six, Peec AI by four, Writesonic by three and Promptwatch by two. ChatGPT named Cituna last of the seven tools in its answer, and no other engine named it.
Two details matter for buyers. Grok and Google AI Overviews both offered Profound at about $99 a month as a Scrunch alternative, but Profound's pricing page now gives brands only a 7-day trial or custom Enterprise, and $99 is its agency plan (checked 29 September 2026). See Profound alternatives for what that means.
Scrunch's own price also comes back garbled. Across all 22 buyer questions in that scan, engines stated a Scrunch price in 10 answers, and 6 of them included $300. That month-to-month figure appears in the copy Scrunch serves to AI crawlers, not on the page a person sees. The full engine-by-engine picture is in what seven AI engines cite.
Which Scrunch AI alternative should you pick?
- Gemini, Claude, Grok and AI Mode daily at one flat price, with Search Console: Cituna, from $39.
- Scrunch Core's four engines for less: Otterly.AI, $29.
- Every engine on the smallest budget, paid in credits: Rankscale, $20.
- Your own choice of four engines, Copilot included: Geoptie, $49.
- Gemini and AI Mode in the base price, weekly data: LLM Pulse, €49.
- Grok with API and MCP on the first plan: Promptwatch, $95.
- More prompts per dollar: SE Visible, 200 prompts for $99.
- Agency portals with Claude and Grok: Trakkr, $100.
How do you switch from Scrunch?
- Copy out your prompts and competitors. Take the full prompt list, your competitor set and a snapshot of current results per engine, so you have a baseline to compare against. How to choose prompts to track helps if you want to prune the list first.
- Check your billing terms. Scrunch's page does not say whether Core is billed monthly or annually, so confirm your renewal date and notice period before you cancel.
- Run both tools in parallel for two weeks. Load the same prompts into the new tool and compare results on the engines both track: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews for most tools here, and Copilot only with Otterly.AI, Rankscale, Geoptie or LLM Pulse's add-on.
- Compare direction, not decimals. Engines answer differently from run to run, so two tools rarely match exactly. Look at whether both show the same competitors gaining or losing.
- Move reporting last. Rebuild dashboards and client reports in the new tool, and if you relied on Scrunch's Enterprise API or Looker Studio, check the new plan's API or MCP before the old contract ends.
