How we ranked them
We ranked each tool by the month-to-month price of its cheapest paid plan, read from its own pricing page on 23 September 2026, and added annual prices in brackets for several of them. Semrush's figure is billed annually. Peec AI's prices appear only after JavaScript runs, so we read its rendered page in a browser. Scrunch's entry plan was re-read on 25 September 2026, when we corrected its row. Plans sold as credits are not ranked, because their price does not fix what they check; they are listed under the table.

Not ranked, because they are sold as credits: Rankscale's Essentials costs $20 a month for 120 credits, which covers about four prompts checked daily on four of its cheaper engines, with Grok and Claude available (checked 28 September 2026). Best for: the lowest monthly bill, if ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot are enough.

Where it falls short: Starter tracks 10 buyer prompts, fewer than the 15 at Otterly.AI and Geoptie; Microsoft Copilot is not among its engines; API and MCP are read-only below Pro at $119; and the trial needs a card.

15 prompts, two brands, any four of seven engines that you can swap at any time, plus a PDF brand report and CSV export. Plans are month to month; no free trial is mentioned on the pricing page.
Best for: choosing your own four engines.
Where it falls short: four engines at a time, Grok is not in its list, and API and MCP start on Professional at $99.
4. Ahrefs, $50
A package of checks, pitched at buyers who only need to track their own prompts. One prompt on one platform uses one check, and Claude uses eight per update. Lite at $129 adds Ahrefs' SEO tools, such as Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer and Site Audit, plus five tracked prompts and API and MCP access.
Best for: tracking only your own prompts, paid for by the check.
Where it falls short: the $50 package buys checks, not Ahrefs' SEO tools; Claude uses eight checks per update; Grok is not listed; and Search Console sits in a separate tool.
5. AIclicks, $59
30 prompts on three engines of your choice, checked daily.
Best for: picking three engines, from a list that includes Claude and Grok, at a low price.
Where it falls short: three models on Starter, and GA4, API and MCP start on Pro at $189.
5. LLM Pulse, €49
50 prompts on five models, with an MCP server and CSV, Excel and PDF exports, but checked weekly; daily tracking costs €79. Claude, Copilot and Grok are add-ons from €8 a month per model. Prices exclude VAT.
