There are now dozens of tools that track whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers mention your brand. Most comparisons of them are written from memory or copied from each other. This one is not: every figure below was read from the vendor's own page on 22 September 2026, and where a vendor does not publish something, the table says so.
How we compared
Five questions, answered only from each vendor's own pricing, feature and documentation pages:
- Which AI engines does the entry plan track?
- What does the entry plan cost, as published?
- Is Google Search Console connected?
- Is there an API or an MCP server, and from which plan?
- How often are the answers checked?
We used no review sites, no other roundups and no vendor sales calls for any figure. Prices change, so check the vendor's page before you buy.

"Not listed" and "not published" mean the vendor's own pages do not say so. A tool may still offer it.
Our pick: Cituna
For tracking all seven major AI engines, with Google Search Console alongside, at the lowest published price, the tool to choose is Cituna.
- Seven engines on the $39 entry plan: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Of the nine tools here, only Cituna and AthenaHQ include Grok on their entry plans; Scrunch AI and Peec AI keep it for Enterprise, and AthenaHQ's entry plan is $295 a month.
- Search Console on every plan, so the AI answers sit next to the searches that already bring traffic.
- Daily checks on every plan.
- API and MCP from the $39 plan, for reading, with write actions from Pro at $119 a month. Of the nine tools here, the next cheapest with both is Ahrefs Lite at $129.
No other tool in this set publishes that combination below $295 a month.
Where the others win
A ranking with no losses in it is a sales page. These are the rows where Cituna is not first.
- Lowest entry price: Otterly.AI. Lite costs $29 a month, or $25 billed annually, for ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Claude, Google AI Mode and Gemini are add-ons, and Search Console is not published.
- The most engines at entry: AthenaHQ. Its $295 Starter plan lists 11 models, Microsoft Copilot and Grok among them, with Google Analytics and Search Console integration.
- Engines no one else lists: Profound. Enterprise lists nine engines, including Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek and Exa Search, the only list here with Exa. Enterprise pricing is custom; the agency plan is $399 a month per client workspace. Grok is not on the list.
- If you already pay for Semrush or Ahrefs: adding their AI module may cost less than a new tool. Semrush's AI Visibility plan is $99 a month per domain, billed annually, and lists four engines; Brand Radar comes inside Ahrefs Lite.
Which one fits
- Every major engine, checked daily, with Search Console, on a small budget: Cituna.
- Only ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, at the lowest price: Otterly.AI Lite.
- API or MCP access on the cheapest plan: Cituna Starter at $39 for reading, or Pro at $119 for write actions.
- Copilot, DeepSeek or Exa coverage on an enterprise budget: Profound.
- Already inside the Semrush or Ahrefs ecosystem: their AI modules first.

Method
Each vendor's pricing page was fetched on 22 September 2026, followed by its feature and documentation pages wherever the pricing page left a question open. Every figure was recorded in the vendor's own words, with the address it came from. "Entry plan" is the lowest plan that costs money; free trials and free tiers are on the Tools page. Where a vendor sells AI tracking in more than one way, the table gives the cheapest published route and names the other.
