The best LLM Pulse alternatives are Cituna, for daily checks of seven engines including Claude and Grok at $39 a month with Search Console, and Promptwatch, for MCP and API access with Search Console at $95. AIclicks is the pick for a wide model list at $59, and Otterly.AI is the cheapest at $29. LLM Pulse itself still gives more prompts per euro than any of them, so the right answer depends on whether you need daily data and Claude or Grok without paying extra.

To see which of the seven engines already cite your site, start a Cituna free trial; it runs your buyer questions across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode.

Every price and feature below was read from the vendor's own pages on 25 September 2026.

Where LLM Pulse is strong

LLM Pulse sells prompts, not answers. A tracked prompt counts once against the plan no matter how many engines run it, so the €49 Starter's 50 prompts run on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews without eating into each other. Tools that bill per AI response make you choose between more engines and more questions; LLM Pulse does not.

The entry plan is generous in other ways too. Starter includes an MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor, data exports, content recommendations, three GEO Writer tasks and unlimited team members. Prices are set in euros, which suits European teams billing in euros, and paying yearly costs ten months' worth.

Why teams look elsewhere

  • Weekly by default. The €49 Starter checks weekly. Daily tracking is a separate plan at €79 a month, and the 14-day trial covers the weekly plans only and asks for a payment method.
  • Claude and Grok cost extra. Both are paid add-ons on every tier, from €8 a month per model at the Starter weekly rate, as are Copilot and DeepSeek.
  • No Search Console on the pricing page. Joining AI answers to your Google clicks is not part of the published plans.
  • API access starts on Scale. Starter and Growth get MCP; the REST API, Looker Studio connector and CLI start at €299 a month.

The ranking criteria

Each tool's entry plan was checked against five yes-or-no questions:

  1. Are answers checked daily on the entry plan?
  2. Are Claude and Grok available on the entry plan without an add-on or enterprise contract?
  3. Does the entry plan's AI tracker connect Google Search Console?
  4. Is an API or MCP server included on the entry plan?
  5. Does the entry plan cost less than 100 a month in its own currency?

Tools are ordered by how many questions they answer yes, with ties broken by the lower entry price. Cituna and Promptwatch both answer yes to all five, and Cituna ranks first on price. The checklist favours daily data and Search Console; if prompt volume matters more to you, LLM Pulse wins on that and the table shows it. For choosing what to track in the first place, see how to choose prompts to track.

LLM Pulse is worth measuring against because the answer engines rely on it for this topic. Measured with Cituna across 22 tracked questions about AI visibility software, 41 scans in the 30 days to 25 September 2026, llmpulse.ai drew 380 citations from Perplexity, 223 from Claude, 158 from Google AI Overviews and 156 from Gemini.

The seven alternatives

1. Cituna: Claude, Grok and Search Console, checked daily for $39

Cituna's $39 Starter runs every buyer prompt across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode each day, and Search Console is on every plan. Read access to the REST API and the MCP server is included at that price, so an assistant or dashboard can pull the engine answers and your Google clicks side by side. It answers yes to all five questions above, and at a lower price than Promptwatch.

Best for: teams that want Claude and Grok in the daily data without add-ons, next to Search Console.

Where it falls short: Starter covers 10 buyer prompts against LLM Pulse's 50, Microsoft Copilot is not tracked, write actions over the API and MCP need Pro at $119, and the three-day trial needs a card.

2. Promptwatch: MCP, API and Search Console on the first plan

Promptwatch's $95 Essential plan includes MCP and API access, 50 prompts, daily checks and 6,000 responses a month, with a seven-day free trial. Its model list runs to nine answer engines, plus OpenCode and Claude Code, with Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta's Llama among the engines, and Google Search Console sits in its integrations list next to WordPress and Webflow.

Best for: teams that want LLM Pulse's prompt count with daily data and an API from day one.

Where it falls short: Essential tracks four models at a time, it has no AEO articles, and Agent Analytics starts on Professional at $245. Promptwatch's pricing.

3. AIclicks: a long model list, three at a time

AIclicks lists 11 models, including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta and Mistral, and its $59 Starter lets you pick three, checked daily across 30 prompts. The plan adds five AI-optimized articles a month, and the three-day trial on Starter and Pro needs no credit card.

Best for: small teams that want Claude or Grok in a daily mix plus some content written for them.

Where it falls short: three models per plan at entry, no Search Console on the pricing page, and GA4, API and MCP start on Pro at $189. AIclicks' pricing.

4. Peec AI: deep source and shopping analytics, three engines

Peec's $95 Starter covers 50 prompts checked daily, with unlimited users. You choose three models from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. The plan table includes source analytics, gap analysis, AI Shopping with SKU-level tracking, an ads library and fact-checks of AI answers, and its homepage says MCP and API connect Peec to Claude, Cursor and n8n.

Best for: e-commerce and brand teams that want source classification and shopping data more than engine breadth.

Where it falls short: three engines at a time, Claude and Grok only in the custom-priced Enterprise column, no Search Console on the pricing page, and the API starts on Pro at $245 (MCP is included on Starter). Peec's pricing. The Peec AI alternatives note compares it in more depth.

5. Otterly.AI: the lowest monthly price

Otterly.AI's Lite costs $29 a month, or $25 billed annually, and checks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot daily for 15 prompts. Team members are unlimited, and ChatGPT ads tracking is on every plan.

Best for: budget-first teams whose buyers use those four engines, Copilot included.

Where it falls short: 15 prompts, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode as paid add-ons, no Grok on the pricing page, and API and MCP only from Standard at $189. Otterly.AI's pricing.

6. Ahrefs Brand Radar: AI prompts inside an SEO suite

Ahrefs Lite, at $129 a month, includes Brand Radar custom prompts along with API and MCP access and Ahrefs' keyword and site tools. Custom prompts are checked daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Claude.

Best for: SEO teams already paying for Ahrefs who want a few AI prompts beside their rankings.

Where it falls short: Lite tracks five AI prompts, a Claude update costs eight checks from a 150-check month, Grok is not listed, and Search Console sits in a separate Ahrefs tool. Ahrefs Brand Radar.

7. AthenaHQ: the most engines on a published plan

AthenaHQ's $295 Starter lists 11 models, Claude, Grok, Copilot, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral among them, and connects both GA4 and Google Search Console. It adds on-page and off-page actions and a content optimization agent, and a free Essential tier gives $25 of credit to try it.

Best for: teams that need Claude, Grok and Copilot at once and will pay for breadth.

Where it falls short: it bills in credits, one per AI response, so more engines means fewer questions; the API is a paid add-on at an unpublished price; and check frequency is not published. AthenaHQ's plans, with more in the AthenaHQ alternatives note.

Which to choose
