10 Best ChatGPT Rank Trackers in 2026: Tools Compared

Cituna checks ChatGPT daily with six other AI engines and Search Console, from $39. Ten ChatGPT rank trackers compared by price, prompts and cadence.

Disclosure: VisibilityOS is published by the team that builds Cituna, one of the tools discussed here. Read this as our view, not a neutral review.

The best ChatGPT rank tracker for checking ChatGPT every day next to Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, with Search Console in the same plan, is Cituna at $39 a month, the lowest flat price among these ten tools for all seven engines. For ChatGPT on the tightest budget, Keyword.com (credits from $9.80) and Rankscale ($20) cost least. Otterly.AI is the lowest-priced prompt-based plan, not credits, with ChatGPT checked daily ($29, with Copilot), and SE Visible tracks the most prompts at entry, 200 for $99.

ChatGPT is on almost every tracker's engine list, so the logo tells you little. What separates the tools is how many prompts you get, how often ChatGPT is asked, and what each check keeps. Vendor facts were read from their own pages on 28 or 29 September 2026, and SE Ranking's on 16 October 2026.

Cituna stores each day's ChatGPT answer with the brands it named, where you appeared and the pages it cited, then writes the fix for each gap. Start tracking your brand in ChatGPT with Cituna, from $39 a month.

Picks by need

  • ChatGPT daily with six other engines and Search Console, one flat price: Cituna, $39.
  • A handful of ChatGPT prompts for under $10 a month: Keyword.com.
  • ChatGPT on any schedule from hourly to monthly: Rankscale, $20.
  • ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot on one small fixed plan: Otterly.AI, $29.
  • ChatGPT plus articles written for you: AIclicks, $59.
  • A large ChatGPT prompt set: SE Visible, 200 prompts for $99.

How we picked these ChatGPT trackers

To be listed, a tool's own pages had to show ChatGPT by name, a plan with a published price that includes it, and a published check frequency. Ten tools passed. Others that miss one test are named near the end with the reason.

We ordered them by the lowest monthly price at which a brand can track ChatGPT, counting any add-on. Month-to-month rates were used where shown, otherwise the annual rate; LLM Pulse's €49 is counted at the $59 its page shows, and ties go alphabetically. Engine behaviour comes from OpenAI's help center and from Cituna's scans of seven engines in the 30 days to 22 September 2026.

What we weighed beyond price:

  • Prompts per month on ChatGPT. Credit plans and prompt plans count differently, so we converted where the vendor gives the rate.
  • Cadence. SparkToro's study of 2,961 runs across ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI, published 27 January 2026, found less than a 1 in 100 chance of getting the same list of brands twice. One weekly sample is a rough estimate.
  • What is stored. The answer text, the brands named and the pages cited, so you can see why a rival was picked.

How ChatGPT answers, and why it changes what you track

Some answers search, some do not. OpenAI's help center says that when ChatGPT searches the web, it rewrites the question into one or more targeted queries for its search partners, and that answers using search may carry citations. An answer written from the model alone has no sources to inspect. A tracker that only counts links will miss the times ChatGPT names you from memory, so look for one that records brand names in the text as well as cited URLs.

The app and the API are not the same product. Vendors that sell AI answer data argue that a ChatGPT answer read from the chat interface can differ from an answer to the same prompt sent to an OpenAI model through the API, because the app adds its own instructions, search step and interface elements such as shopping cards (web search results read 16 October 2026). None of the ten pricing pages we read says which method it uses. If the difference matters to you, ask the vendor before you buy.

ChatGPT cites few pages, and mostly vendors and roundups. In Cituna's scans of questions about AI visibility tools, ChatGPT's 552 answers in the 30 days to 22 September 2026 carried 4.7 third-party citations each. Its five most-cited sites were all vendors' own domains, led by otterly.ai (123 citations), and roundups took 79.2% of the citations to its top 100 other sites. Of those 100 sites, 64 were cited by no other engine. What ChatGPT cites has the full breakdown, and how to get cited by ChatGPT covers what to do with it.

The 10 ChatGPT rank trackers, by price

1. Keyword.com (best for ChatGPT under $10)

Keyword.com bills AI visibility in credits. Its entry tier is $9.80 a month, or $7.83 billed annually, for 20 credits, and a ChatGPT check uses 0.25 of them (read 28 September 2026). That buys 80 ChatGPT answers a month: about 18 prompts checked weekly, or two or three checked every day. Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and both Google AI surfaces cost the same per check; Claude costs 3 credits and Grok is not offered. Search Console, GA4 and an MCP server come with it, and the 14-day trial asks for no card.

Where it falls short: daily ChatGPT tracking on a real prompt set needs a larger credit tier.

2. Rankscale (best for choosing your own schedule)

Rankscale's Essentials costs $20 a month, or $204 a year, for 120 credits, and every engine it supports is on every plan (read 28 September 2026). A ChatGPT run typically uses 0.25 credits, so the plan covers about 480 ChatGPT answers a month, roughly 16 prompts a day. Cadence is set per project, from hourly to monthly, which suits teams that want ChatGPT sampled more than once a day around a launch. MCP is included; Search Console and GA4 are in beta.

Where it falls short: credits are shared across engines, so adding Claude (2 credits a run) shrinks the ChatGPT allowance fast, and the seven-day trial is for the $99 Pro plan only.

3. Otterly.AI (best for ChatGPT with Microsoft Copilot)

Otterly.AI's Lite plan costs $29 a month, or $25 billed annually, for 15 prompts checked daily on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot (read 28 September 2026). Gemini and AI Mode are $9 add-ons each, Claude is $29, and Grok is not mentioned. otterly.ai was the site ChatGPT cited most in our scans, and on 29 September 2026 ChatGPT named Otterly.AI when asked for a tool to track brand mentions across ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Where it falls short: 15 prompts is a small sample for an engine this variable, and API and MCP start on Standard at $189. The trial is seven or 14 days without a card, depending on which page you read.

4. Cituna (best for ChatGPT with six other engines and Search Console)

Cituna costs $39, $119 or $399 a month, and every plan checks ChatGPT daily with Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, with Google Search Console included (read 29 September 2026). For each prompt it keeps the full ChatGPT answer, the brands named, your position when named and the pages cited, so a mention without a link still counts. It then writes the fix for each gap it finds and can publish the article; MCP read access is on every plan.

ChatGPT's habit of citing vendor pages and roundups no other engine reads makes the cited-page list the useful part: it shows which pages you need to be on for ChatGPT in particular.

Where it falls short: 10 prompts on the $39 Starter, no Microsoft Copilot, and a three-day trial that needs a card.

See what ChatGPT says about your brand with Cituna, checked daily with six other engines, from $39 a month.

5. Geoptie (best for tracking ChatGPT across many markets)

Geoptie's Starter is $49 month to month, or $41 a month on annual billing, for 15 prompts and two brands (read 28 September 2026). Each plan tracks four of seven engines that you choose, ChatGPT among them, and you can swap them later. Checks run daily in 123 markets, the widest published coverage here, and its free GEO rank tracker runs a check without signing up. API and MCP start on Professional at $99.

Where it falls short: a prompt tracked in several countries uses one prompt per country, Grok is not offered, and no trial is published.

6. AIclicks (best for ChatGPT tracking plus articles)

AIclicks' Starter is $59 a month for 30 prompts on three models, and ChatGPT is a default alongside Perplexity and Gemini (read 28 September 2026). The three can be changed to others from a list of 11 that includes Claude and Grok. Checks are daily, five AI-optimised articles a month are included, and the three-day trial needs no card.

Where it falls short: three engines at a time on Starter; API, MCP and GA4 start on Pro at $189.

7. LLM Pulse (best for five engines per prompt)

LLM Pulse's Starter is €49 a month with weekly checks, shown as $59, or €79 with daily checks (read 28 September 2026). ChatGPT is included with Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode, and each of its 50 prompts counts once across all five. Claude (€25), Grok (€15) and Copilot (€10) are monthly add-ons on weekly Starter. MCP is on every plan, and the 14-day trial on weekly plans asks for a payment method.

Where it falls short: the entry price buys weekly ChatGPT data, which the run-to-run variation above makes noisy; daily costs €79.

8. Peec AI (best for teams that need many seats)

Peec AI's Starter is $95 a month, or $80 billed annually, for 50 prompts on three models chosen from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI (read 29 September 2026). ChatGPT takes one slot at no extra cost, a fourth model is $35 a month, users are unlimited, and checks are daily. MCP is on Starter; the API starts on Pro at $245. peec.ai was the fourth site ChatGPT cited most in our scans, with 84 citations.

Where it falls short: Perplexity is not in the Starter model list, and Claude and Grok are Enterprise only.

9. SE Visible by SE Ranking (best for a large ChatGPT prompt set)

SE Visible Basic costs $99 a month, or $79 billed annually, for 200 prompts refreshed daily on ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode, Perplexity and AI Overviews, with a 10-day trial and unlimited users (read 16 October 2026). A prompt counts once across the five engines. SE Ranking's Core SEO plan, $129 a month, also includes 100 daily AI prompts next to its rank tracking. If its five engines are too few, our SE Ranking AI tracker alternatives lists replacements.

Where it falls short: no Grok or Copilot, and Claude is listed as coming soon.

10. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit (best for existing Semrush users)

Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit costs $99 a month per domain, billed annually, with 25 custom prompts checked daily (read 28 September 2026). The toolkit lists ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity for those prompts. Search Console data needs the separate $10 Base Report add-on.

Where it falls short: annual billing per domain, 25 prompts, and no Claude or Grok in its engine list.

Which ChatGPT rank tracker should you pick?

  • ChatGPT plus Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok and Google's two AI surfaces, daily, with Search Console: Cituna, $39.

Other ChatGPT trackers we did not rank

These list ChatGPT but missed a test, or we could not settle their facts from the pages we read. AthenaHQ's free tier covers ChatGPT on 300 credits and Starter is $295 a month, but no check frequency is published (read 28 September 2026). Profound's seven-day brand trial includes ChatGPT, after which brand plans are custom-priced (read 29 September 2026). Ahrefs Lite, $129 a month, includes five tracked AI prompts and 150 checks a month (read 28 September 2026). Rankability's pricing page shows one plan at $497 a month on a 12-month agreement (read 29 September 2026), while its ChatGPT rank tracker page appeared in search results on 16 October 2026 with a $99 a month title; we could not reconcile the two. Morningscore's ChatGPT tracker was reported at $69 to $299 a month in a web search on 16 October 2026, and ProRankTracker's ChatGPT tracker page advertises daily reports, but we did not read either vendor's pricing page for this note.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best ChatGPT rank tracker?

For ChatGPT checked daily next to Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, AI Overviews and AI Mode, with Search Console included, Cituna at $39 a month (read 29 September 2026). On the smallest budget, Keyword.com from $9.80 in credits or Rankscale at $20.

Can I track my ChatGPT rankings for free?

By hand: ask ChatGPT the questions your buyers ask, note the brands it names and open its sources, and repeat on several days, because the list changes from run to run. AthenaHQ's free tier and Profound's seven-day trial both include ChatGPT, and Keyword.com's 14-day trial needs no card.

How often should ChatGPT rankings be checked?

Daily where the budget allows. With under a 1 in 100 chance of the same brand list twice in SparkToro's study, a rate across many runs tells you more than any single answer.

Does a ChatGPT rank tracker see the same answer I do?

Not exactly. Answers vary by run, account, location and whether ChatGPT searched the web, and trackers may read the app or call the API. Treat the numbers as a rate over time, not a screenshot of one user's view.
