10 Best Gemini Rank Trackers in 2026: Tools Compared

Cituna checks Gemini daily with six other AI engines and Search Console, from $39. Ten Gemini rank trackers compared by price, plan and cadence.

Disclosure: VisibilityOS is published by the team that builds Cituna, one of the tools discussed here. Read this as our view, not a neutral review.

For Gemini checked every day on the entry plan, next to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode and with Search Console included, the best Gemini rank tracker is Cituna at $39 a month, the lowest flat price among the ten tools here for all seven engines. If Gemini is the only engine you care about and the budget is small, Keyword.com (from $9.80 in credits) and Rankscale ($20) cost least; Otterly.AI reaches Gemini at $38 once its $9 add-on is counted; and SE Visible gives the most daily prompts, 200 for $99.

Gemini is where plan details catch buyers out. On some tools it is part of every plan, on others it is one of a few engines you pick, and on one it is a paid extra. Each entry below says which, with the price at which Gemini is actually tracked. Facts were read from each vendor's own pages on 28 or 29 September 2026.

Cituna keeps each day's Gemini answer with the brands it named, your position and the pages it cited, next to six other engines and your Search Console data. Start tracking your brand in Gemini with Cituna, from $39 a month.

Picks by need

  • Gemini daily with every other major engine and Search Console, one flat price: Cituna, $39.
  • A few Gemini prompts for under $10: Keyword.com, credit-based.
  • Gemini on a schedule you set, from hourly to monthly: Rankscale, $20.
  • Gemini plus content written for you: AIclicks, $59.
  • Gemini in a five-engine bundle with prompts counted once: LLM Pulse, €49 weekly.
  • Many Gemini prompts at once: SE Visible, 200 prompts for $99.

How we chose these Gemini trackers

A tool made the list when its own pages showed three things: Gemini by name among the engines it checks, Gemini available on a plan with a published price (included, as a chosen slot or as a priced add-on), and a published check frequency. Tools that missed one of the three are in the last section with the reason.

The order is the lowest published monthly price at which a brand can track Gemini, counting any add-on Gemini needs. Where a vendor shows a month-to-month rate we used it; otherwise its annual rate. Equal prices are ordered alphabetically. Vendor facts were read on 28 or 29 September 2026; engine behaviour comes from Google's documentation and from Cituna's scans of seven engines in the 30 days to 22 September 2026.

Three questions shaped the comparison:

  • Is Gemini on the plan you would buy? "Supports Gemini" on a home page can mean an add-on, an Enterprise feature or one of three slots.
  • How often is Gemini checked? Its answers vary by run, so a weekly sample shows a trend, not a day.
  • What does the tracker store? Gemini cites few sources, so the names in the answer text matter as much as the links.

One question we could not settle from the pricing pages: whether each tool samples the consumer Gemini app or calls the Gemini API. The two can answer differently, because Google describes the Gemini apps as grounding answers in its Search index, while an API call grounds only when the developer switches on the Google Search tool. Ask the vendor before you rely on the numbers.

What makes Gemini different to track

Gemini grounds its answers in Google's Search index. Google's documentation describes the grounding step as the model deciding whether a search would help, writing its own queries, running them and linking each cited passage to its page. So a page Google has not indexed, or that does not compete for those short queries, rarely reaches a Gemini answer. Our guide on how to get cited by Gemini covers that side, including the Google-Extended robots.txt token, which can keep your content out of Gemini's grounding while leaving Google Search untouched.

Gemini also shows fewer sources than any other engine we track. In Cituna's scans of questions about AI visibility tools, its 552 answers in the 30 days to 22 September 2026 carried 3.5 third-party citations each, against 8.7 for the other six engines, and Google's help page notes that not every Gemini response includes sources. A tracker that records only links will undercount you; you want the brands named in the text as well.

And Gemini can misread a name. In the same window, nine of the 12 sites among its 100 most-cited that were listed against "best Otterly AI alternative" were about Otter.ai, a transcription tool. What Gemini cites has the full breakdown. If your brand's name is close to another product's, check the sources your tracker stores, not only the mention count.

The 10 Gemini rank trackers, by price

1. Keyword.com (best for Gemini under $10)

Keyword.com sells AI visibility in credits: $9.80 a month, or $7.83 billed annually, buys 20 (read 28 September 2026). A Gemini check costs 0.25 credits, the same as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, AI Overviews and AI Mode, so 20 credits cover 80 Gemini answers a month, roughly 18 prompts checked weekly. Claude costs 3 credits a check and Grok is not offered. Search Console, GA4 and an MCP server are included, and the 14-day trial needs no card.

Where it falls short: daily Gemini checks on more than two or three prompts need a bigger credit tier.

2. Rankscale (best for your own schedule)

Rankscale's Essentials plan is $20 a month, or $204 a year, for 120 credits, and Gemini is on it, as is every engine Rankscale supports (read 28 September 2026). You choose the cadence per project, from hourly to monthly. MCP comes with every plan; Search Console and GA4 connect in beta. Rankscale has a dedicated Gemini rank tracker page, which was the second result for "gemini rank tracking" when we checked the search on 16 October 2026.

Where it falls short: our read did not establish Gemini's credit cost per run, and the seven-day trial is for the $99 Pro plan only.

3. Otterly.AI (best for Copilot users adding Gemini)

Otterly.AI's Lite plan is $29 a month for 15 prompts, checked daily on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot (read 28 September 2026). Gemini is not among them: it is a $9 monthly add-on on Lite, which puts Gemini tracking at $38. AI Mode is another $9 and Claude $29. The trial runs seven or 14 days without a card, depending on which of its pages you read.

Where it falls short: Gemini is an extra, the prompt allowance is small, and API access starts at $189 on Standard.

4. Cituna (best for all seven engines with Search Console)

Cituna costs $39, $119 or $399 a month, and Gemini is on every plan, checked daily with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, with Google Search Console built in (read 29 September 2026). For each Gemini answer it stores the brands named, where you appeared, and the pages cited, which matters for an engine that often names tools without linking them. It then writes the fix for each gap and can publish the article; MCP is included.

Gemini and Google's AI search surfaces both draw on the Search index, so seeing Gemini next to AI Overviews, AI Mode and your Search Console data in one place shows whether a gap is a Google indexing problem or a Gemini-specific one.

Where it falls short: no Microsoft Copilot, and the three-day trial needs a card.

Track Gemini with six other engines and Search Console in Cituna, from $39 a month.

5. Geoptie (best for picking your engines)

Geoptie's Starter is $49 month to month, or $41 a month billed annually, for 15 prompts and two brands (read 28 September 2026). Each plan tracks any four of seven engines, Gemini among them, and you can change the four at any time. Checks are daily across 123 markets, and a free GEO rank tracker runs without signup. geoptie.com was one of the three sites Gemini cited most in our scans in the 30 days to 22 September 2026, with 61 citations.

Where it falls short: a prompt tracked in several countries counts once per country, Grok is not offered, and no trial is published.

6. AIclicks (best for tracking plus articles)

AIclicks' Starter costs $59 a month for 30 prompts on three models, and Gemini is one of the three defaults with ChatGPT and Perplexity (read 28 September 2026). Checks are daily, the plan includes five AI-optimised articles a month, and the three-day trial needs no card. aiclicks.io drew 61 Gemini citations in our scans over the 30 days to 22 September 2026.

Where it falls short: three models and 30 prompts on Starter; API, MCP and GA4 start on Pro at $189.

7. LLM Pulse (best for five engines per prompt)

LLM Pulse's Starter is €49 a month with weekly checks, shown as $59, or €79 for daily checks (read 28 September 2026). Gemini is included on every plan with ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and AI Mode, and each of its 50 prompts counts once across all five. Claude, Grok and Copilot are add-ons. The 14-day trial covers weekly plans and needs a payment method. llmpulse.ai was the site Gemini cited most often in our scans in the 30 days to 22 September 2026, with 111 citations.

Where it falls short: the entry price is weekly data, and daily Gemini tracking costs €79.

8. Peec AI (best for teams with many users)

Peec AI's Starter costs $95 a month, or $80 billed annually, for 50 prompts on three models picked from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI (read 29 September 2026). Gemini is in that base list, so it costs nothing extra if it takes one of your three slots. A fourth model is $35 a month on Starter. Users are unlimited and checks are daily.

Where it falls short: with Gemini, ChatGPT and one Google surface chosen, the slots are gone; Perplexity is an add-on and Claude and Grok are Enterprise only.

9. SE Visible by SE Ranking (best for many prompts)

SE Visible Basic costs $99 a month, or $79 billed annually, for 200 prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode, Perplexity and AI Overviews, refreshed daily, with a 10-day trial (read 28 September 2026). SE Ranking customers can instead add AI Search to Core ($129) for $89 a month.

Where it falls short: no Grok or Copilot, and Claude is listed as coming soon.

10. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit (best for existing Semrush users)

Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit costs $99 a month per domain, billed annually, and lists ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity, with 25 custom prompts checked daily (read 28 September 2026). Search Console arrives through a separate $10 Base Report add-on.

Where it falls short: annual billing per domain, and no Claude or Grok on the toolkit's list.

Which Gemini rank tracker should you pick?

  • Gemini daily alongside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Grok and Google's two AI surfaces, with Search Console: Cituna, $39.
  • The smallest possible bill: Keyword.com from $9.80, or Rankscale at $20 for a schedule you control.
  • You already use Otterly.AI: add Gemini for $9 a month on Lite.
  • You want articles with the tracking: AIclicks, $59.
  • Weekly reporting across five engines: LLM Pulse, €49.
  • Hundreds of prompts: SE Visible, 200 for $99.

Other tools that track Gemini

These list Gemini but missed one test, as read between 22 and 29 September 2026. AthenaHQ's free tier covers Gemini on 300 credits, with Starter at $295 a month, but no check frequency is published. Profound's seven-day brand trial includes Gemini with ChatGPT and AI Overviews; after it, brand plans are custom-priced. Ahrefs Brand Radar lists Gemini among its engines, but Ahrefs publishes three different starting figures ($50 prompt packs, $199 standalone, or bundled in Lite at $129), and our read did not settle which of them includes Gemini. Rankability lists Gemini on one plan at $497 a month on a 12-month agreement, while a search result for its Gemini tracker page showed $79 a month on 16 October 2026; we could not reconcile the two.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Gemini rank tracker?

For Gemini checked daily with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, AI Overviews and AI Mode and with Search Console included, Cituna at $39 a month (read 29 September 2026). For Gemini on the smallest budget, Keyword.com from $9.80 in credits or Rankscale at $20.

Which tools include Gemini on the base plan?

Of the ten here: Keyword.com, Rankscale, Cituna, AIclicks, LLM Pulse, SE Visible and Semrush's toolkit include it. Geoptie and Peec AI include it as one of the engines you choose. Otterly.AI sells it as a $9 add-on on Lite (all read 28 or 29 September 2026).

Can I track Gemini rankings for free?

By hand, yes: ask Gemini your buyers' questions, open Sources on each answer and log the brands and links. AthenaHQ's free tier also covers Gemini on 300 credits, and Profound's seven-day trial includes it.

Why does Gemini cite so few sources?

It grounds answers in Google Search and cites the passages it uses, and Google says not every response includes sources. In our scans it averaged 3.5 third-party citations per answer, the fewest of seven engines, which makes being named in the text as important as being linked.
